Job Description: Performs construction activities needed to maintain, repair, or replace camp
facilities and infrastructure. Must be able to perform quality repair and replacement work in the
following areas: concrete and masonry, carpentry and wood working, drywall, windows and
doors/door locks, and painting. Needs to possess a moderate understanding of the general job
aspects and the
technical aspects of concrete construction to include experience in the following areas:

  • Maintains driveways, curbs, gutters and paving, exteriors, and foundations.
  • Knowledge and experience with concrete pours, sizing of rebar and installation of rebar.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of related tools, both hand and automated.
  • Able to read blueprints and experience with excavation techniques, form setting techniques,
    fabrication of forms, pouring of concrete slabs and walls.
  • Previous experience with monolithic pours, shoring techniques, core drilling in slabs and
    walls, finish work on concrete slabs and pouring footers.
    Performs general handy-man experience including minor repair of a wide variety of building systems
    including but not limited to roof and roofing systems, walkways, ladders, platforms, parapets,
    expansion joints, storm drains, etc. Performs other duties as assigned.
