Job Description: This position will be responsible for maintaining all locks, latches, lock cylinders. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
- Cut keys; lubricate, maintain, and repair cylinders; repair or reset combination or keypad locks.
- Maintain accurate records of lock and key installation and maintains lock cylinder system as designed to facilitate the use of master keys.
- Make modifications to the locking and master key system to meet the needs of the client.
- Learn the Key Trak system, including required software and hardware repairs.
- Responsible for maintaining and managing an inventory of all parts and equipment required for his/her area and for maintaining adequate security on sensitive items.
- Candidate should have knowledge in door handing.
- Candidate should be able to use and read a tape measure and veneer caliper.
- Candidate should have technical knowhow of different lock mechanism and door closer.
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Three (3) years’ experience as a Locksmith.
