Job Description: This position will be responsible for examining stock, issuing supplies, and maintaining computer records of expendable inventory. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
• Conduct check-in and check-out routine inventories of USG owned furniture, furnishings and equipment upon arrival, departure and in house transfers of USG personnel.
• Track, control, and issue expendable supplies for the entire operation of post’s warehouse facilities.
• Be responsible for the accountable and storage of expendable supplies.
• Conduct annual physical inventories and participate in annual inventory reconciliation between physical inventory findings and the computerized records.
• Generate monthly reports of XP values of offices and warehoused and verify with warehouse to check that all receipt/transfers/disposal documents are received for data processing.
• Generate quarterly and annual reports for XP values for DOS & other agencies after the annual physical inventory.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in conducting annual physical inventories of representational residences and preparation of reports.
• Type correspondence and reports and assist Warehouse Supervisor in the preparation of reports and correspondence and in the development of the supply budget.
•Maintain an on-site inventory of supplies and materials.
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
o Experience in warehouse, property, and supply.
o Experience with supply chain management (SCM) systems, particularly in relation to accurate inventory management.
o Experience in materials-accountability, loss prevention, and logistical scheduling.
o Experience with analysis and research using the MS Office Suite of programs. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
o Methodical and accurate in record management.
o Ability to carry out responsibilities with limited supervision.
o Ability to prioritize own work schedule to meet deadlines and required reports.
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

o Proficient computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
o Working knowledge of inventory/property control procedures.
