Job Description: This position will be responsible for performing appliance maintenance requirements and will report to the Appliance Supervisor. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Responsible to install, maintenance, repair, and disposition of Small Appliances’ (SAPL) equipment. This includes gym equipment, commercial and residential kitchen equipment, dishwashers, clothes washers and dryers, and commercial refrigeration units. Perform refrigerant recovery of SAPL equipment in line with EPA standards. Accepts, prioritizes, coordinates, and completes assigned work orders, projects, and tasks in a timely manner. Accurately completes work orders daily for preventive maintenance or unscheduled work performed by the SAPL section. Must be able to maintain tools and equipment and perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: 3 years experience as an appliance mechanic repairing and maintaining such appliances and equipment listed above.
