Job Description: This position will be responsible for automotive repairs and maintenance. The
duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned
and are not necessarily all inclusive.
- File, grind, sand, and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
- Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or
paper to protect them from the paint. - Remove damaged sections of vehicles using metal-cutting guns, air grinders and wrenches,
and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment. - Cut and tape plastic separating film to outside repair areas in order to avoid damaging
surrounding surfaces during repair procedure and remove tape and wash surfaces after
repairs are complete. - Prime and paint repaired surfaces, using paint spray guns and motorized sanders.
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Five (5) or more years’ experience in auto
body repair. - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
o Knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance, including maintenance/repairs of
all vehicle systems including tire change and wheel balancing.
o Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting automotive functions
at an overseas facility.
