Job Description: This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing building woodwork
and equipment, as well as assisting other positions in preparation for assigned projects. The duties
and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are
not necessarily all inclusive.
- Maintain and repair building woodwork and equipment – bins, cribs, counters, benches,
partitions, doors, floors, stairs, casings and trim. - Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions.
- Use a variety of carpenter’s hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring
instruments. - Make standard shop computations relating to work dimensions and select required
materials. - Performs minor furniture repair.
- Assist in relocating staff by delivering and installing office and residential furniture, taping,
and masking rooms to be painted, and painting walls during surge requirements. - Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Two (2) years’ experience as a Journeyman
Carpenter.
