Job Description: This position will be responsible for operating heavy trucks and/or other
equipment, to include waste management vehicles.
- Operate all vehicles (various heavy trucks & vehicles) in a safe and knowledgeable manner:
- Perform the Pre-trip inspection (PTI) of the vehicle prior to use to ensure it is suitable for
safe operation. - Perform any operator level maintenance required for safe operation.
- Wear prescribed personnel protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform water delivery/wastewater/solid waste removal services IAW site service
schedules and as required or directed to facilitate mission performance. - Properly transit through established checkpoints.
- Perform the Post-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is fully mission capable for followon
missions. - Must possess a valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicles being operated.
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Five (5) years experience as a truck driver with
manual and automatic transmissions.
