Job Description: This position will be responsible for operating trucks or other light vehicles for pick
up and/or delivery of goods or people. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative
of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
- Operate all vehicles (various Light Vehicles, Electric Vehicles, ad All-Terrain Vehicles (gators,
etc.) in a safe and knowledgeable manner:
a. Perform the Pre-trip inspection (PTI) of the vehicle prior to use to ensure it is
suitable for safe operation.
b. Perform any operator level maintenance required for safe operation.
c. Wear prescribed personnel protective equipment (PPE).
d.Properly transit through established checkpoints.
e.Perform the Post-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is fully mission capable for follow-on missions.
f.Must possess a valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicles being operated.
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Three (3) years’ experience as a truck driver with manual and automatic transmissions.
