Job Description: Operates transportation vehicles in a safe and professional manner,
including Trash Trucks, semi tractors with 40-foot trailers, 3-5 ton trucks, and light vehicles
and passenger vans. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
Considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the
general aspects and technical phases of the job and their
practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Effectively
communicates and comprehends business English orally and in writing. Must be able to
pass an onsite driving test and must possess a valid driver’s license for the appropriate
vehicles.
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: four years driving professionally and one year
supervisory experience
