  1. Operate a variety of cranes, with emphasis on 60 – 90 ton and construction heavy equipment. 
  2. Interpret load charts and plan all lifts. 
  3. Determine safe lift parameters and follow established procedures. 
  4. Document lift plan as required any time the lift exceeds 75% of the crane’s capacity for any given circumstance. 
  5. Perform safety inspection of crane, heavy equipment, wire rope, hooks, slings and rigging as required. Document inspections as required. 
  6. Operate cranes for building construction and movement of cargo or equipment. 
  7. Operate construction heavy equipment such as, loaders and forklifts, for cargo movements and construction. 
  8. Lubricate, check fluids, and perform safety inspection and minor maintenance as required prior to operation of any equipment, per Preventative Maintenance Check Sheets (PMCS). 
  9. Arrange equipment maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations or as directed by the Vehicle Maintenance Facility (but around planned lifts when possible). Inform job site person in charge of impending maintenance schedules. 
  10. Comply with all ESH Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. 
  11. Provide documentation to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate legal documentation. 
  12. Work to achieve goals and contractual commitments. 
  13. Perform physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of heavy equipment, crawling, and working outdoors. 
  14. Implement and maintain a safe workplace program and ensure that safety is the highest priority in the workplace. 
  15. Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: two years. Good eyesight, ability to follow verbal and visual instructions, safety conscious.
