Job Description: This position will be responsible for operating horizontal earthwork equipment to provide support operations for entire facilities to include, fields, parking lots, roads, drainage/spillways, and any other performance required through statement of work and will report to the Heavy Equipment Supervisor and/or Site Services Manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
- Load and unload military and civilian aircraft, flatbed trailers, box trucks, etc.
- Operate automated or manual materials handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other loading equipment.
- Assembles, palletizes, and transports cargo loads to and from storage areas. Good knowledge of the job.
- Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a limited understanding of the technical phases of the job.
- Must be able to pass an onsite driving test.
- Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: two years.
