Job Description: This position will be responsible for performing site vehicle maintenance
requirements. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level
of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements for a fleet of
vehicles. - Responsibilities include:
o Performing vehicle oil changes, belt changes, tune-ups, tire rotation and
changes, steering system checks, front-end alignments, brake systems, batteries,
electrical, air conditioning, maintenance/repairs of all vehicle systems including
tire change and wheel balancing, etc.
o Handling and disposal of Hazardous materials (HAZMAT) storage.
o Completing Service Desk and Fleetmate work orders.
o Performing Logistics (including maintaining inventory of spare parts, equipment,
and consumables), purchase request, and warehousing processes and
procedures.
o Operating vehicles.
o Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues
accurately.
o Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and
upgrade.
o Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
o Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
o Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks)
o Keep logs of work and issues on work orders.
o Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
o Participate in equipment inventories. - Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
o Five (5) years’ vehicle maintenance.
